Atlanta-Little Rock

I’m fried from a day of weaving between 18 wheelers on a two lane highway in the pouring rain, and my mental stamina has regressed to that of an 8 year old. So here are the stats from my first day on the road:

Starting Milage- 69522

States Crossed-  Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas (Which, I’ve apparently forgotten since coming through on tour, is for the most part a whole bunch of nothing.  And not beautiful or mysterious nothing, like New Mexico or Wyoming- just nothing).

Miles Covered- 526

Tomorrow’s agenda includes the moderately intimidating 14 hour drive from Little Rock to Santa Fe, and hopefully some Texas barbecue.  I don’t typically get down on the brisket, but I figure if it’s done right anywhere it would be in cow country.  Don’t fuck this up for me, Amarillo.

That’s all I’ve got.  I’m going to eat broccoli and watch Netflix.
