First sunny day in San Francisco. Thank fuck. Exploring Clement Street as per the suggestion of the infinitely wise Brian “Cousin” Muldoon. Started off the day with a walk to the top of Bernal Hill. This city is really lovely when you can actually see it through the rain and fog.

Have Love, Will Travel
I really believed that I would be better at maintaining a blog this time around.  But obviously, that has not been the case.  To be perfectly honest, I’ve just been having such an incredible time that I haven’t wanted to waste a minute of it typing.  This is the first time I’ve turned on my computer in more than a week.  Oops. I am writing to you today from San Francisco,...

15hrs of travel > my brain
I am in New Mexico, and I am very, very happy. I feel like I should post something interesting or beautiful or both given how magical (not to mention fucking epic) my day was.  But I drove for more than 15 hours and I think my eyeballs are going to explode.   So I’m going to do it tomorrow instead.  Pictures coming soon, so you won’t just have to listen to me wax poetic.

Atlanta-Little Rock
I’m fried from a day of weaving between 18 wheelers on a two lane highway in the pouring rain, and my mental stamina has regressed to that of an 8 year old. So here are the stats from my first day on the road: Starting Milage- 69522 States Crossed-  Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas (Which, I’ve apparently forgotten since coming through on tour, is for the most...

75% Stoked, 25% Terrified
I started this blog nearly two years ago, when I first packed up my suitcase(s) and moved from Atlanta to New York.  After approximately two weeks of careful attention, it was unceremoniously forgotten, and left for dead.  I had spent the better part of the previous two years touring, busking, and generally carousing about various cities and countries.  I decided that maintaining such a page...

Today I moved for the third time in a month. The suitcases are starting to look as tired as I feel. Tonight I am back in the shoebox (as I have affectionately dubbed my subletted apartment). With two other women. And their 12 suitcases. In one room. With one air mattress. I’ve heard that people in New York bitch about the same few things. 1) Being broke 2) Having a crappy job 3)...

Would you like fried rice with that?
Today Becca and I decided to go on an adventure into Chinatown. The high points of which included: - A visit to a dumpling house that resulted in a heated and prolonged battle between us, the chopsticks, and the dumplings. The fight raged on until there were dumplings flying across the table (literally), and the exasperated wait staff offered us additional utinsils. Oops. -An in depth (and at...

New York I love you, but you're freaking me out
It has been brought to my attention that I will not be considered a real “young urbanite” unless I am tumbling (is this an acceptable utilization of the word “tumblr?”).  And since I have done a fairly respectable job of resisting social networking sites (with the exceptions of A-MySpace, for musical purposes only, and B-Facebook, which I joined in college), I figured why...
